Emma and I have run a Pet Groomers for 16 years now and have always employed staff. We pulled contracts off the internet and struggled with holidays, policies and generally made it up as we went along. I even tried to write a handbook for our staff. I spent days and day and days writing this thing and never published it! I got so frustrated when ever we called the chamber of commerce HR support line with questions and problems they would ask what our "Handbook" said!!!!
When we started our mentorship journey we soon realised we needed to outsource and this is where we met Megan. Boy did we meet her at the right time. Megan has been invaluable when it comes to help and support. She has also supported our staff too.
If you employ staff, rent a table, have an apprentice or thinking about doing that then this is a MUST listen. It was recorded Feb 2021.
