Welcome to the Pet Grooming Business Podcast with me, Bill Betts, where we give practical business advice to help you grow your pet grooming business. This podcast is sponsored by Low Pay, the low rate payment app that gives you more. So without further ado, let's get going.
Welcome. Welcome. I'm joined by Connor, and Connor is the chief editor of Total Grooming magazine. Welcome, Connor. How you doing? I am really well, thank you. Almost the weekend, plodding along. Yeah, thanks for having me. It's absolute pleasure to be here. No, thank you for finding some time in your. In your busy schedule because I know it's. It's crazy, isn't it, at the magazine. It definitely can be. Is pretty chocker at times.
Like Christmas specials or anything like that coming up or. Yeah, we have a big festive focus coming up in our December issue, which is coming along very nicely. Going to print next Wednesday, which I'm very excited to share with everybody. We have all the usual stuff that you'll see coming up. We have like a yearly recap, products of the year, that sort of thing. We're talking about different groomers, favorite products over the past year that have come out. Yeah, the festive one, that's the big one I'm really excited for in the next issue.
Excellent, excellent. So tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you get into. You're not a pet groomer, are you? But how did you.
I am so far from a pet groomer. No, that's not entirely true. It's. Yes, I. I was very much into. Into content creation and writing and video creation growing up my entire life. And, you know, eventually I went to university, which led to my journalism degree, and then that led on to me working on the Barber magazine and thus TGM magazine as well, which are two separate ent. Yeah, I both work under the same company for them. And yeah, it's. Finding my way into TGM is they needed somebody who had a bit more to give in the world of writing features in this sense, and that could talk to people a bit more, talk to clients, talk to professional groomers, people in the industry.
And I thought, you know what, that's something I would love to get into. So I threw my expertise at the director Mike, as quickly as I could, and, yeah, here we are a few months later. I've been working there since June. Right, cool. So it's coming up to half a year now. Yeah. So you obviously knew that you were coming into Total Grooming magazine and who they worked with. What are your sort of initial Impressions of the industry as a whole.
It's tough questions, eh? No, I love it. I love it. I guess you're thinking I didn't realize how much I was going to love it. You know, I always knew that I wanted to write about industry focused things and I wanted to talk about, you know, the industries and really get that kind of B2B side of things with my writing. But I didn't realize how friendly and upbeat and happy that the, the pep grooming industry was going to be. Honestly, it's such a nice, refreshing change of pace from other industries I've worked in, like yourself for instance.
And every single other person I can talk to, it's just smiles and happiness and. But everyone's very passionate at the same time. So everyone's. It's a very good mix of hard working and also, you know, just genuine enjoyment of the job, you know. Yeah. And there's so many different sides to it, isn't there? Because obviously you, you deal with pet groomers on themselves, but then you've also got the sort of commercial side with products, you know, services that support pet groomers. So you, not only you get to sort all the pet groomers, but you're getting to speak to all the products, people that produce products for them, people that produce services for them.
It's, it's a. Do you expect the industry to be as big as it is? No. Honestly, it really did catch me by surprise, you know, and especially when you talk to. So, you know, it starts just by talking to a groomer. Right. Like a professional groomer. They're in their own business, they have their own little company with a few employees and then they talk about the education they had to go through, they talk about the type of tools they invest and they talk about, you know, hiring people, they talk about the industry, social media, and it branches off into so many different avenues.
I just had no idea were a bigger part of running this sort of business, as I thought. And I've learned so much along the way. I've learned a lot. And yeah, even from a product standpoint, there are so many products I didn't even know exist. There are still things today that I'm just like, is that a thing? Oh, it is a thing. Wow. Why did I think of that sooner? And it's really obvious in the end, you know. But yeah, it's such a varied industry that I just didn't realize how much it had to give.
Honestly, you know, it's, there's a lot to it. Yeah. And it's not what I find interesting, interesting about the industry too is you've got, you've got so many different branches, you've got your salons, you've got your mobile, you've got your working in people's houses and then you've got working from home as well. There's just so many sort of different ways to run your, your pet grooming business, which then makes it interesting in its own right, you know, and challenging as well. And gives people different challenges as well.
Which is good.
Yeah, massively. I mean the amount of people I work with on a month to month basis, you know, like our Groomers of the Month, for instance, our monthly feature that we run, it is constantly changing in that same sense. If we have mobile groomers, we get home visit groomers, we get people to work out of their own salons, they built in their own houses. You know, it's, it's so much to it. So how do you put your, your magazine together? Is there particular. Obviously you mentioned Groomers a month.
Do you, have you got advertising in there? But do you go out? How do you go out and find you sort of like your journalistic part of you, you sort of go out and hunt down stories and look for different avenues within the industry. How do you do, how do you deal with that? Yeah, so it's a very mix. You know, sometimes people approach us, we tend to approach companies, people who want to work with as well.
Yeah. Sometimes, you know, I'll hear through the grapevine and I will, you know, some of them will be. Somebody will be like, hey, you heard about this groomer that's got this really interesting niche thing, you know, like I found one recently. There was a guy in. I can't remember where he's based exactly, but I spent ages trying to search for him and his whole gimmick was he designs.
I just suppose design is the right word. He creates like Pokemon themed dogs, you know, Pokemon, like the kids. And all of his like designs and showing and grooming stuff, it's all based around that and it's all very colorful and very bright and very. But he's got like a huge following. I'll need to find his link and send it to you because it's really interesting to see how he works and he has a massive grooming like within the industry. Industry groomers love him and I spent ages trying to hunt down him and get in touch with him.
Sadly, I don't think he wanted to be in the magazine at that point. But I'm still pressure pushing for him, you know, and it's. You just kind of hear things through the grapevine, you know. But every now and then I am signing up to mailing lists and I'm signing up to different websites with leads and I am constantly on the hunt for new, exciting people we can really speak with and feature. So, you know, if anybody has got anything interesting they'd like to share, then please email me, you know.
Yeah, we'll put your details in the, in the body of the, the text and thank you, the chat. But so, you know, you are open just to people to drop you an email saying hi, you know, I have a, I have a story to tell. I have something a little bit different with my. The way I do it, you know. Yeah. Would you like? Massively. Yeah, I absolutely love it. You know, it's almost a compliment. We'll reach out to you, you know, because then it's like, oh, hey, we like the magazine, we want to be in it.
How do we go about being in it? You know, it's lovely.
Yeah, please do reach out if you've got an interesting story to tell. I'd absolutely love to hear about that. I mean, nine times out of 10, maybe not, maybe like 50, 50. But half the time people do reach out to us and they end up in half. The content we have in the magazine tends to people that have reached out to us. So, you know, it depends obviously issue to issue, but there have been issues where like a large quantity of the content we feature has been like that.
You know, people happen to reach out and we're like, hey, you know, that happens to fit perfectly this issue. Let's go for it. Cool. And how do people get hold of Total Grooming Magazine? Is it a physical publication? Is it an online publication? So we have a subscription basis and we can get the physical magazines shipped out to you. I believe it's a 12 month installment plan, but it comes to like a couple of pound a month, if that. So it's not very much at all. But also you can visit totalbridgemagazine.co.uk and that's where you can read our digital publication all on our website.
So both through digital and physical. Cool, cool. And obviously we can see you at certain events as well where you're always there. So I mean, you know, publication and the digital age, it can get a bit tough, can it? So you're starting to look at diversification within Total Groom magazine. So we brought you on to chat about a new project that you're working on that might be of interest to pet groomers. Tell us a little bit about that. So I believe you're talking about tgtv. I thought I'd let you say it because I was.
Yeah, it's my new passion project, honestly, and I love it so far. It's got fantastic feedback from the people we reached out to.
Technically, the first episode is going to come out in the next couple of weeks, but overall it's very similar to how we run our features in that we're reaching out to people and talking to people about their business, their companies, their products, their pet grooming styles, everything like that. And we're releasing it in the form of rewatchable online viral content. So we have. YouTube is going to be our main host for this and essentially going to be video interviews. Now, myself, coming from a video background, before I was in print, I've always been semi had a foot in the door for the video editing industry and I thought, why not bring this to the magazine?
You know, it's been, it's been around for a while now. People know who we are and let's be real, we're in 2022, almost 2023 now. That's. That's the way it is, you know, and especially with things like TikTok, where it's very, very easy to. To share things, you know, it's. Especially with clips from our YouTube show, which we're going to be now hosting.
It only makes sense. And there's even new apps like Hive is the new one that's just kind of making a breach. I think it came out a couple of years ago, but in this last couple of weeks it's exploded. I've made a Hive account for my personal self with my usual username. Not even so I can use it, but just so I have the name coined. The trick comes down to it's always changing, things are always happening, things are always going on, so you have to stay on top of it.
And that's what we're trying to do with tgtv. We're trying to stay ahead of the game and we're trying to give new content that the people don't really see very often. So hopefully that will bring people in to come and talk about it and share it more. Yeah, it's actually a post I put out the other day saying the most dangerous saying in your business is that's how we always done it. Like you said, everything is always moving forward. You've always got to stay ahead of the curve or at least keep up with it and consider looking at new things things.
So total grooming TV or TG tv.
So you'll be running what kind of features you're gonna look at Education day in the life, that sort of stuff. What sort of stuff you're looking to. Put on there in the long run? All of it. Everything I could possibly think of. But so far we have, we have two companies that are booked in with us. I probably won't spoil it just yet, but keep an eye out for what's coming very soon. But one of them is heavily focused on education and one of them is heavily focused on.
On products. And essentially they're kind of coming in and talking about the unique ways that both these things can be beneficial to your business. So it's not necessarily like a self promotion as much as it is. Okay, here's this product we have, whether it be a service or actual product. And here's why you should be looking to it for your business to improve your business. You know, it's. It's all about you guys at the end of the day. It's not about us, it's about other people we work with necessarily.
It's about the readers and the now viewers and bringing you guys more information which you can use to benefit your business. Yeah, so it will be a mix is the honest answer. But right now we have a couple of things lined up. But I think the idea for it is gonna have different shows and those different shows will highlight different aspects. So one will be like business oriented. One will be focused on specific groomers. You know, maybe we'll do a show one, you know, covering different shows.
And maybe we'll talk to interviewees themselves such as your, you know, if you're interested. Yeah, definitely. This how you do it, you do it live. So you can't say no.
I'm writing down list of people I think as well. Yeah, great.
But yeah, that's it really. Like the end of the day, why limit yourself? We can do anything. So as long as people are watching and interested in our content, we will do anything. This podcast is sponsored by Low Pay. Low pay is half the price of sumup and zettle. So you keep more of the money that you earn. Rate start at 0.79%. We be going out and visiting people. So could it. I suppose this might be later on in, in the TG TV's life, but you know, I'd love to see how people make shampoos and how they, you know, how they put stuff together.
How like behind the scenes of a, of a product company and Then the life of a mobile groomer and stuff like that. Would you be going. Going out, film people in the future and spend a. Spend some time with them? Yeah, I would be more than over the moon to do that. That's almost dream job territory for me. You know, making documentaries, things like that. Yeah, massively. I'd love it. Obviously, you know, we'll need to reach a point where we can securely able to afford doing that, you know, without, you know, because obviously it's hours, it's manpower, it's time, and it's also, you know, travel and things like that, which I would be happy to do it tomorrow, really would just as a hobby.
Yeah. But yeah, when it comes down to it, yeah, that is something I would love to push for in the future. I would love to go visit people and really see what people are like in the. In the day to day of it all. Yeah, I think that'd be really useful for people looking to come into the industry as well. You know, if they could see like a day in the life of a. Of a grooming school or training school or a day in the life of a pet groomer and what they have to deal with, because it's not always like, you know, they always take the mickey on Facebook, like the puppy cuddles and that's what you do.
There's some serious stuff that goes on in pet groomers, you know, so it can be a really good insight into a daily life of a pet groomer, you know, going in and following them and stuff like that. And that could actually help people coming into the industry as well and help them make that choice of career. And I fully agree with you, especially when it. Because there's only so much writing can really do, right. Obviously writing is my, my main industry. I should be saying this, I suppose, but you know, there is, when it comes out to storytelling, you know, it's.
It's grown so much over the years and whether it. Whether it's fiction or nonfiction, you know, there's always more ways to improve upon that. You know, there's no reason why you can't combine the writing with the video, you know, and like you said earlier, podcasting, you know, making a third avenue for that, you know, there's no reason I would love to do a podcast as well in the future. And there's so much to explore. Like, it goes back to that same saying, you know, just don't limit yourself.
Just keep on pushing for new things and people will come. And I think it also also helps with different People's learning styles, you know, people learn differently, so they might want to read your magazine or, or watch your videos or listen to your podcast. So lots. Everyone's completely different, aren't they? Some people might consume everything. You know, when I, when I used to. When I look into a new career, I remember how exciting it was to sort of absorb everything, you know, going to the websites, look, watching the.
And I did this when I, when we were signing up to our, our mentorship company that we used. You know, I was watching their YouTube channel, I was absorbing all of their podcasts, you know, listening to everything that it got. And it's like that for me was a really exciting part of it, you know, getting to know everything and what was going on. So you want to research writing job?
Not quite yet. I am, I am starting to type a little book out. I'm like this with my fingers. Yeah. Yeah. That's one of my. One of my goals for the end of this year and next year was to, to publish a book. Oh, brilliant. That's fantastic. That's. I'm not going to. That's actually a bucket list item for me. I've always. I'm a very formal news writer. That's kind of my, my background. Obviously I'm drifting more into features now, but I've always wanted to. Right. Book. So that's why they always say, isn't there.
There's a. There's a book inside everyone. And I'm. I'm lucky to have mentors who have written books so they can help me and guide me and also help with the, the publishing side of things as well. But I was a bit as a. Like, it's going to be a book on the grooming industry. I possibly have a book about my, my life in the police, but I'm still sort of getting over that bit. So I'm going to try and look forward, look forward in the. And write a book for the grooming industry.
Yeah, that'd be brilliant. I mean, hey, send us a copy. I'd love to write a review.
Yeah. So, yeah, total grooming TV. So the. It's all set up on YouTube. It's ready to go. So people find it. I think we'll put the links in, obviously, but please. I think it's gonna. I think if you search on YouTube, Total Grooming Magazine, I think it should come up, shouldn't it? In theory, if I've. If I've persuaded and tickled the algorithm in just the right way, maybe, you. Know, let's get some subscribers on there so that the algorithm starts kicking in. Yes, please. Yeah, Obviously growth is not down to us.
It's actually down to people that watch our content. So it's gonna sound really cliche, but if you like, if you follow it and you watch the video from start to finish and you click on the like button and you subscribe and turn the bell on all that stuff, it tells the algorithm that people are interested and it will push the content out even further. So if you care about the industry and do want to see more of our content, please do stuff like that because it's surprisingly helpful.
You have no idea how much it can actually really benefit us. It's not just a numbers game of likes and subscribers. It actually does tell YouTube and other content that, hey, this is actually stuff people are watching and it pushes out even further. Yeah, and definitely. And I think it's important because if we want you to do more for us as an industry, we need to get behind Total Grooming tv like, and subscribe. And then that will give you the. Like you said down the road, that'll give you some funding and some help to go out there and do the sort of day in the life and, and projects like that sort of thing, which I think would be really useful.
So get behind it. Yeah, definitely, Definitely. Oh, yeah, please, please do come and say hi. Leave the comments as well. Are you interested? Do you think it will go wider than the UK? Obviously, YouTube is open to everyone. Do you get us groomers contact you? Do you talk to European groomers? Yeah, we. So we do run a feature every month called Groomers around the World, which is literally, I speak to a groomer from a different country every single issue and try and get their insights and we speak about the differences, we talk about what we can learn from each other, country to country wise.
So UK to Ireland and Ireland to the UK Islands, for another very good example. Spain, Portugal, far away.
Actually, funnily enough, Ireland is actually the upcoming one. Well, it's a. In. In December. We have spoken with somebody who was born in Sweden and then moved to Ireland. So we're actually getting a bit of a dual. A dual feature on that one. But yeah, we're always trying to reach out to new people and, you know, back when I first started on the magazine, it was more UK focus. And I've. I've been trying to push it out even further. I have a checklist of every single country in the world I'm trying to work for.
Some are very difficult to find content from, but I'M trying my best.
Yeah, no, honestly, we are. You know, once again, why limit yourself? You know, other planets, you know, let's, let's go. Let's just like really push it out there, you know, it's funny you say. That on my, on my podcast you get analytics. It says what countries your podcasts being listened to. And it does go into like, Mars, Saturn, Plat, you know, all the different planets. Oh, wow. I'd be a bit freaked out if I had a listener in Mars. Oh, and that'd be awesome. Like first contact.
Let's go. It was a pet grooming column. Let's do.
I'll be like, hello, NASA, have you seen my statistics? I've got a listener in Mars. But I was like, that's crazy that they even just list the other planets where your podcast could be listened to. But, but yeah, I mean, you know, again, the reach with your podcast could be, could be enormous. But I think you're right. It's fascinating listening. People from other countries or even just like the, the breadth of the country, you know, from the south of England all the way up to the top of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
And Ireland always get told off for separating them out sometimes. But, you know, there's so much to learn. There's so much that we can learn from each other and, you know, talking to people all around the world and, and, and what they're doing and what they're doing differently and how we could perhaps integrate that into our own, our own businesses. Yeah. And people love it as well. You know, for the most part. It's the same reason people like going on holiday. You know, it's, it, it's like a fresh perspective and you can talk to people with different outlooks on things and you can learn from it.
You know, there's a lot to learn. So it's. And the amount of people as well, that feedback to us and say, oh, I've never thought about it that way. Or that's a really interesting take. I'd love to look into this more. And it's just. And the sole reason is because it's from a different country and they do things differently over there. Which I think is fantastic. I love that so much. You know, it's such a.
It's just, it's interesting, you know, it's just. It really does like. What's the word? And I'm interested.
Yeah. And you need to be onto your bosses and start saying that. We've got super, super groom, I think, in Vegas coming up. I'd love to see TG TV over. TG TV over there.
Let's go.
Let's go to Vegas. Let's do it. Get me over there. But yeah, that's. I think it's a really, like you said, always growing and it's always worth looking at. What can we do next to sort of enhance the industry and grow people's knowledge? And I think we never stop learning, do we? So make sure everyone. You go and check out Total Grooming tv. So tv. And if people think, you know, they'd love to sort of do a. An article or feature with you again, they just reach out.
Yeah, absolutely. So, honestly, the easiest way is to email me directly at Connor. That's C O N o r@tgn publishing.co.uk Alternatively, you can reach out to us on Facebook, you can reach us on Instagram, Twitter, all of it. There's no. Don't worry about being formal. Just be like, hey, what's up? I'd like to talk with you about a feature. And I'll be like, hey, yeah, let's go. We have a social media team in house that really help us out with that stuff very, very well. And they're very good at letting us know who's reached out to us and spoken with us.
And ultimately, I always tell them this as well.
We try to never say no to anybody right off the bat. It's always a case of, if you reach out to us and say, hi, 99% chance, unless it's an extenuating circumstance, we will say hi back and ask you about your career and talk with you before making any sort of decision about features. So please do reach out because we will talk with you because we. One thing I always say to people is, like, especially with big companies and stuff, you know, people always feel like, oh, it's a big company, like they imagine like a robot on the other end.
No, like we are still people and we still people. People still operate all the social media handles and emails and everything. So, yeah, just reach out to us and say, hi, you know, yeah, what's up? And actually, if you got that email, you'd be like, hey, what's up? You know, that's it. And. And what would you say to the people that are like, I'd love to get a feature in a magazine, but, you know, I don't. I'm worried about writing it, or I'd love to appear on Total Grooming tv, but I'm worried about putting my face out there or.
Or getting out there. You know, I know that do you help people with writing articles? Is that something that you can assist them with? Yeah, massively so. Obviously, generally if we are writing an article about you, you know, we'll do the writing. That's the fantastic part of that. You know, it's not very often that people request to do the writing themselves, but hey, if it happens, it happens. And nine times out of 10 we're grateful for it because it not only saves us time, but also, you know, it's interesting to get like someone else right for the magazine that isn't just our own stuff.
You know, it's like an interesting new. Take what we were saying earlier, you don't have to be a writer. Like, I've literally had emails from people that give their son backtrack just for a second. I will generally reach out to you guys with questions and ask about your career and things like that. And then you can like give me like some sort of answer for that and then we turn that answer into the article. But I've literally had people that respond back with like big blocks of text that aren't.
There's no grammar, there's no punctuation, there's nothing. It's big block text. And I have to then turn that into feasible reading material, which is absolutely fine. You know, at the end of the day, people that write these articles, they're in the pet grooming industry and they're not necessarily trained writers, which is absolutely fine.
But you know, that that's what we're here for. You know, it's our job to make you guys what you are, which is fantastic these days. It's not all, not only about writing. You could. Can the people send you voice notes? Can they. Can they sort of send you voice notes to then. Yeah, articles from, you know, it's WhatsApp and there's messenger and also all sorts of ways of, of actually speaking and leaving your comments rather than having to write them in an email and stuff like that.
Yeah, a thousand times, yes to that. You know, at the end of the day, as long as we have the information, we can write the content for you, for even make the videos with you tv, you know, it doesn't necessarily have to be a written thing.
It literally can be a case of you just sending us a voice note like you said, or we do phone interviews sometimes and I can just write it up afterwards and I'll record it.
There's no formal way to do it. It's just a case of, hey, we need this information. How can we get the information from you to me, and then myself or a member of the writing team will take care of the rest. So it's not as daunting as it can seem at first glance.
Whatever is easiest for you, honestly. And there's no wrong answers. If it's factual, it's true. If I say, how's your day been? You would just tell me about your day. You know, it's as simple as that. If I say, I'll tell about your grooming business, you talk about your grooming business. You know, how do you get customers in? How do you get customers in? You know, it's the. It's as simple as that. So it's pretty straightforward and chill. We can do it even like this over Zoom.
You know, it's just however you want to do it and feel comfortable for you. You know, it's the easiest way to make your. You talk and convey information in a way that's comfortable for yourselves. So. Yeah. Yeah. And I want. I want to break down that barrier with people like yourselves, because I want people. I want pet groomers to go out there and showcase the great work that they're doing. And there's nothing nicer than having yourself and your business like showcases in your magazine. You know, you're published, you're.
You're in print, you know, and tell the world about how. How you run your business. There's no right or wrong way to do it, but let's tell the world about you and celebrate your business. That's what we're here for. You know, end of the day, we have. We have a love and a passion for this industry, so there's no reason why we wouldn't teach it, treat it with the utmost respect and what it deserves, really. So. And that comes down every single groomer, whether you have a thousand followers on Instagram or a hundred thousand followers and something else.
You know, at the end of the day, we're all part of the industry, and we are. We aim to make every single person feel as welcome as we possibly can. So. Awesome. Awesome. We'll wrap up on that night. If people are watching this rather than listening to this, they will notice some kind of, like, facial hair on you. And now when you joined Zoom, I was like, it's still November, so tell us a little bit about that. Yeah. So much to myself and the team's dismay, a little bit.
We are all doing Movember, not to be confused with no Shade November. We are raising money for testicular cancer and prostate cancer, mental health awareness, and suicide prevention. So all of our Pages, you'll find a link to donate money to that if you want to support or even just share. And like, anything like that will really just help out. But at the end of the day, we're here to cause a bit of a ruckus. We want people to be like, hey, why have you got a mustache?
Then I can be like, hey. Well, funnily enough, it's because of this fantastic cause and that's kind of that. So I've never tried to grow a mustache in my entire life and it just happens to be when I'm doing a Facebook live with a big company such as yourself.
So, yeah, that's. That. That's the reason for the. It's not just me, it's the whole team at tgm.
So please do reach out and shout at us and tell us it's a ridiculous idea or come and donate some money either. Any sort of help can be really appreciated. So. So are we gonna see in the December issue, are we gonna see a photo of all the members of TG magazine with their Movembers? I think we might have to do that. Yeah, that. That has been discussed. Some are more hesitant than others. Absolutely. Excellent. I think what I. I did a social media post last week, I want to say, and it ended up just being myself and Mike, who's a director on there.
You have to rally the troops. Yeah, it's. It's a tough one, but it's working. So we've got a few days left. Are you excited to get rid of it or are you gonna keep it? I don't think I've been more excited for anything in my entire life.
Normally I have like a whole beard going. Similar to yourself, just like a short and sweet kind of, you know, semi. Semi tidy kind of beard look. But yeah, this is the first. This is the first time I've been clean shaven in literally years. So it's, it's, it's itchy. Yeah. Mine's a lockdown beard, so I started growing this in lockdown 2019, so I'm not sure when it's coming off yet. Looks good. That's good. Keep it obviously trim. I've trimmed it, but that's it.
But. Cool. Yeah. So, yeah, let us know how much you raise. And I suppose you'll take. Do that in your magazine as well. Yes, we will be absolutely talking about it. And yeah, it's exciting, you know, it's just nice to give something back and do something good. Yeah. Excellent. Excellent. So what date is the Total Grooming magazine out for December this year. So we've got a print on the last day of this month, next Wednesday, and it should be digital a couple of days after that, hopefully the next day.
But depends on how quickly the turnaround can be. And it should be arriving on doorsteps week, week and a half later afterwards. If you've subscribed to the magazine via website and. Yeah, and all the social media posts will be following shortly afterwards. First episode of TGTV will hopefully go live in the next couple of weeks. We don't have an exact date yet because the team are still editing it and putting it all together.
Yeah, keep an eye out and stay tuned. The best way to keep an eye on it is to subscribe to the channel, turn on the. Turn on the little notification bell that's on there as well. And yeah, stay tuned. Hit that subscribe button. I've subscribed to it already. Thank you. Well, there's two subscribers so far, so me and you, let's. Let's go. We'll check that out in a few weeks time and see how that's growing. But make sure you go and check out Total Grooming TV so that you can continue your education and it'll be interesting to watch it grow.
Yep. I can't wait to see where we go from here. Honestly, it's a big future ahead for us all. Yeah, awesome. It's been great catching up with you. You too. And we'll see you. Well, do you come to Groomfest? Do you turn up at Groomfest and places like that? Absolutely, I do. Why wouldn't I? It's the best, best show in the whole world.
Yeah. Honestly, I'm really excited to everybody at Groom Fest and I will, yeah, come and hassle me and say, hey, that mustache was awful. Please do come and have a chat with me because I'd love to hear all about you and your stories and your businesses. Yeah. And the question will be, will you have your video camera with you so you'll be taking some TG TV footage at Grimfest? Now, I'm not saying no, but I am also saying yes. Good. So I know I said it like that.
So. So, yeah, so it could be a good opportunity again just to get in front of the camera, break down those barriers and get yourself onto your TV channel. Yeah, massively. That'll be. There'll definitely be some sort of recap video somewhere online in that aspect for Groomfest. So it's excellent. Big deal for us. Excellent. Well, thank you, Conor. Thanks for spending some time with you. I know it. Time's pretty precious for you at the moment with deadlines coming up, but it's my pleasure. Thank you for having me and helping me spread the word a little bit.
Yeah, you're welcome. And we look forward to seeing you December issue and all of your dodgy mustaches. Can't wait to share it with you. Take care. Take care buddy. Bye bye.
